At work we are still on Exchange 2003, so I haven't had a chance to try Mail's new Exchange support yet as it requires Exchange 2007, but I've actually come full circle on this topic. Literally two weeks ago, I decided to give Entourage a second look. I found Outlook to be very slow on VMWare Fusion and it became very frustrating. My strategy this time around is to use a better backup strategy for Entourage that will let me rebuild the database quickly when / if the database gets corrupted.

If we had Exchange 2007 though, I can say will a pretty strong degree of confidence I'd be using Mail. Both Outlook and Entourage to me are very mediocre solutions for the Mac.

Now that Snow Leopard has arrived - What do you think about the way it integrates an exchange account? I think I still prefer outlook.

Justin,

Thanks for the note! Outlook is definitely not perfect, but it works for now. As an aside, I literally had a co-worker ask me last week what to do because his Entourage DB got corrupted in the middle of the work day. I am glad I am not worrying about that anymore. I am anxiously awaiting Snow Leopard!
