The Subtle Changes in iOS4: Threaded Messages

Yesterday, Nik Fletcher highlighted the subtle changes Apple introduced in iOS4 and followed it up today with a second post that documented even more subtle changes in the UI.  I loved both posts, as they really showcase Apple’s extreme focus on attention to detail.

Another great change that I noticed today, but hasn’t yet made it to Nik’s list, is that iOS4 Mail now displays the count of total messages in an email thread just beneath the time the message was received.  If you click on the count, Mail then filters your inbox to show all messages from that thread.
