The Subtle Changes in iOS4: Threaded Messages

iOS4 Mail now displays the count of total messages in an email thread just beneath the time the message was received. If you click on the count, Mail then filters your inbox to show all messages from that thread.

Great Usability Is All in the Details

I downloaded Acorn today for a test run. I was a little lazy and launched the app from my Downloads folder and right after was pleasantly surprised to see this dialog box pop up on my screen.

It’s a small thing, but such a simple way to make the end user’s life easier. I can’t recall ever seeing this in another app. A very nice touch and a great first impression.

Quick Thoughts on the Kindle 3… I mean Nook

My first thought after watching the introductory video was B&N should have just named the Nook the Kindle 3. It’s as if they reverse-engineered a Kindle, added the ten most requested features, and then slapped a different name on it.
