Recently I have been doing some digital housecleaning in an effort to regain control of the files that have built up on my Desktop, in my Documents folder, and in other assorted digital sinkholes. As a result, I have I developed some new guidelines around how I name files moving forward; and I am happy to say they have already started to pay dividends:
